Attached and below are two Incident Summaries involving an Incident-Injury-Caught Between and an Incident-Injury-Hand & Power Tools incident. Please review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hazzard:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 – Incident-Injury-Caught Between<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An apprentice was using the key switch to run a moving walk to cover the hole left by the removal of pallets. While sitting on the edge of the truss with one foot in the pit and the other foot resting on the cross brace, the apprentice ran the unit towards himself forgetting about the pallet hidden under the combplate. The pallet came around and caught his left foot between the cross brace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 – Incident-Injury-Hand & Power Tools<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A mechanic was stripping the jacket off a round traveling cable using a cable stripping knife with a hooked blade. The blade got stuck and the mechanic pulled hard on the knife to free it from the traveling cable. He pulled the knife into his gloved left hand cutting himself above the thumb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
